Hair loss...anyone from experience know what to do??

I gave birth at June 9, 07 and i noticed for the past month my hair has falen out twice as much to the extreme. well, compare to before it's to the extreme to me because i see like 20 strands falling out after a shower, before the shower, when i'm just anywhere, i see hair coming lose and i pull it off cuz obviously they are dead hair and it's like....ahhhh..i'm goin insane. i saw on websites that postpartum can be the problem. has nyone experienced this problem after pregnancy, and for how long? did it grow back or what? or is it because i rarely ever drink water? low iron? is it because i skip meals sometimes b/c i wake up late or too lazy to cook. i have no idea wha the problem is. can't ask the doctor b/c i have no insurance yet. anyone experiencing hair loss and did something about and it worked??? i can see my scalp on my front. it thinned within a week or so which is very scary. WHAT SHOULD I DO?? WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM?

I know how you feel you are not alone i am 20 yrs old but i have not given birth and i lose alot of hair due to low iron in the past. My hair has thinned out all over my scalp. However i am giving the new Boots Hair loss spray for women a chance ... it might work so you should too. However seeing as you have lost your hair after pregnancy it is very very likely yours will grow back after a couple of months and you will stop losing it. Dont stress you will be fine and will have thick hair soon xxx

It is normal to lose more than usual hair during postpartum.. but it shouldn't be so noticeable that you can see your scalp. You might have a serious medical condition going on... insurance or no insurance I would see a doctor. Your child deserves its mother to be healthy and well. Good luck!
