Without being a vet and without being able to see what is going on it is hard to make a diagnosis. I'm assuming that if you are putting sulfodene (a human medication also) on the dog that it must have been prescribed by the vet.
I do know that a LOT of dogs lick paws because of allergies.
I also know that a LOT of dogs start licking a paw because of an imbedded foreign object like a foxtail.
I've never heard of an American Snowdog.. I did a quick search and found nothing.. would you care to share a link? (I'm always interested in learning something new).

American Snowdog is not a breed. Post a picture and we'll help you identify. May be chewing on paws due to allergy, fleas, or dematitis. If not better w/medicine in 24 hrs, please contact your vet for further advice.
