Hair loss....................?

My sister-in-law is losing her scalp hair, right now she's totally bald and she has to wear a wig to hide it. We don't think it's alopecia.....do you think she has cancer or leukemia? What can she do to make her hair grow back??

Hair loss....................?

Awww Bibi, I am sorry to read that your sister in law is suffering from hair loss...along with what everyone else said thus far...another factor could be stress....life stress or hair stresss....too much dying, blow drying and curling can lead to temporary baldness...only consider these factors if the doctors prognosis is positive...meaning there is no internal disease affecting the hair loss....update us

Hair loss....................?

I think your sister in law should go and see a doctor. this way she will know what is wrong and be able to do something bout it. Good luck

Hair loss....................?

I think it is way past time for your sister-in-law to visit her doctor. It is not common for a person to just go completely bald. She needs to figure out why she is losing her hair and only after that can she explore treatment and regrowth options.

Hair loss....................?

Certain diseases like diabetes can lead to hair loss. You need to get proper tests before proceeding to take any action. Hormonal imbalance, surgery and pregnancy can cause hair loss. Certain medications like contraceptive pills, blood thinners and anti-fungal medicines lead to hair loss.
